Today we are going to talk about Inside Dark Studio, one of the great promises in ICP that for what they show us, they are going to get all the attention in the next months.
It is not easy in the video game industry to make a name for yourself, and even more so in the web3 gaming industry. And it is no small feat to have a scenario like the current one in the blockchain and cryptocurrency world. That’s why every effort seems like a double effort and being able to develop a project today requires a lot of determination and above all, having good ideas.

Today we are in front of a new studio that has a 5-year roadmap and that from its creation to date is already showing incredible progress. Let’s welcome Inside Dark Studio, a group of developers who found a millionaire idea and is determined to carry it out, let’s see a little more about it.
Imagine this scene. Sury and Stoll, a table full of papers, coffee, many screens, an air full of new ideas and that feeling of being about to shout eureka. They are two developers who have been talking for hours about game styles, how they could improve this one, or what they found fascinating about this one. Suddenly they start to draw a line. The game itself. It starts at one point and the line has no idea where it will end. An RPG. But it could also be something more like turn-based/tower-defense, Stoll interrupts. While saying it out loud and detailing the scenery and graphics, Sury with glowing eyes bangs the table and with both hands outstretched exclaims: A MOBA, set in the Zhonist dimension, where John discovers the eye of the multiverse and inadvertently causes a rift in space-time creating thousands of unknown portals. Stoll and Sury hugged and drank until dawn celebrating that they had discovered The reality of Madness.
We don’t really know if it happened this way, but it was probably quite similar, we can guess from everything they tell us that is and is going to be the metaverse of Inside Dark.

We talk to Mariano (Stoll) and we can see that he is in love with his project. And no wonder, what they plan to develop is incredible. Inside Dark is a very young studio, officially founded in September 2022, but their progress seems to correspond to much more time of development.
He together with Sury, had this idea of creating web3 games and as we saw, from an RPG to a whole metaverse, there seems to be a small step, and it is the vocation and confidence.
At this moment they are in the first step of their roadmap, and they already showed us amazing images of how their games are looking like.

They are working on a Suite of games, the first one aiming to be released in December is The Heroes Supremacy. The Heroes Supremacy is a moba-style game. For those who aren’t familiar with MOBA,[these are games like Lol or Dota, the term MOBA is Multiplayer Online Battle Arena] They have their Genesis NFT collection coming up on the 8th of December and it provides all of the first expansion cosmetic changes in-game. These NFTs are interoperable with all the future games they plan to build!

The first question we asked Mariano after testing their beta versions of the games was:
How did you manage to have such good results in such a short time?
I think the most important thing is to always have a firm and clear objective! Not only because of the kind of industry we are working in, but also because by having it you can make your team know exactly what they have to do, then there is of course the internal organization!
But we know that the future of Inside Dark is very promising and we were interested to know what’s exciting on the horizon:
What excites me the most is to see the constant support of the community to our project, every time we show a little bit of what is coming they always show us support and support! either with comments to improve or observations on what we plan and improve.
As they say in their pitch:

So logically, when we asked what the challenge was for a web3 gaming studio today, their answer was:
Understanding how to attract users to web3 is the hardest thing, understanding that if you only do things for web3, it’s too aggressive with the new user and you’re going to scare them away. That’s the reason they produced the 5 Year plan covering the founding pillars of their future and the products that are being developed right now, the final goal of this roadmap is to be able to be able to make a AAA title on the Web3, Fully on a browser game.

RoM universe will be developed in 5 games, all connected via a Player Hub acting as their House, where they can show off their NFTs and hand with other players.
